The Labor Office of the Czech Republic, in cooperation with the Statutory City of Frýdek-Místek, organized the annual Education and Employment Market on 7 November 2017. This year's 22 nd event took place for the first time in the premises of the Polárka multipurpose hall.
Pupils of the primary schools and their parents had the opportunity to get acquainted with secondary schools and study fields to gain an idea of their future employment in the labour market. In addition, visitors could see a wide range of activities from the presentation of the electronic kit, through milling, demonstration of multifunctional models, gastronomy, make-up and hairstyle, 3D printing, badge production, first aid training etc. On the premises of the parking area around Polárka hall there were expositions of technicians - trucks, tractor with siding, excavator, etc. The pupils could see the machines or try some of their functions.
The director of the Frýdek-Místek Labor Office's contact point, Vladimír Patáčik, said: "We have it connected both with educational opportunities and with some employers who help to re-think what kind of discipline can be applied in practice." He himself tried to assemble the screws on our stand.
As our company is one of the major employers in the region, we have also taken part in the event. At our stand, the participants of the event could learn not only information about our company, but also compete and get a small reward for their activity.
Like every year people were very interested in this event. It was visited by over a thousand people.
